Although a zodiac sign doesn’t determine someone’s character, there are those who are more prone to manipulation, vindictiveness, and harmful behavior. Some signs simply can’t hide their maliciousness when they see someone else make a mistake or suffer. Sometimes they do it out of a sense of superiority, sometimes out of revenge, and sometimes just because it gives them pleasure. These are the three signs most often associated with this darker side of personality.
Scorpio – pleasure in the misfortune of others
Scorpio is a sign driven by emotions, but those emotions are not always positive. When someone wrongs them, they don’t forget – and they don’t forgive. Revenge is often sweet for them, and if they feel betrayed, wronged, or humiliated, they will do whatever it takes to make the other person feel the same pain. Sometimes they even take pleasure in watching someone with whom they have a bad relationship face problems – without any guilt. Their ability to analyze and manipulate makes them masters of psychological games, which is why it’s not wise to have them as enemies.
Capricorn – pleasure in the misfortune of others
Capricorn is extremely ambitious and success-oriented, and in the process, they don’t care much about other people’s feelings. Their reserved and pragmatic nature can make them seem cold in situations where others might show compassion. If someone fails, Capricorn often doesn’t feel an ounce of empathy – on the contrary, they may even feel satisfaction in knowing they stayed on top. They won’t necessarily actively work to make others fail, but they won’t miss an opportunity to ensure they come out on top, regardless of the consequences for others.
Gemini – pleasure in the misfortune of others
Geminis are known for their adaptability and intelligence, but their ability to get out of any situation sometimes comes at the expense of others. Their duplicity can be dangerous, as they know how to play on other people’s weaknesses, spread rumors, and turn people against each other – all while maintaining an innocent façade. If they notice someone they don’t like is in trouble, they’re very likely to do nothing to help, and might even use the situation to their advantage.
